Terms of Service
The rules for using this website and the Fiscoo free trial. We kept them plain: if anything is unclear, ask us.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
The website and Fiscoo belong to [TO BE COMPLETED] company name, an Italian company (“we” or “us”); full details are in our Legal Notice. These terms govern your use of the website and the free trial. The license to use the paid software is governed by the contract we sign with each firm: if that contract and these terms differ, the contract prevails.
2. Who Fiscoo is for
Fiscoo is software for Italian accounting firms (commercialisti) and for professionals working in Italian tax and accounting. We offer it only to businesses and professionals (B2B), not to consumers. Whoever starts a trial does so on behalf of their firm and confirms they are authorized to do so.
3. The website
- The website presents Fiscoo. Examples, figures and the demo are there to show the product: the demo is a simulation with made-up data and scripted answers.
- Tax information on the website is general: it is not advice and does not replace a professional’s judgment.
- There is no public price list: prices and terms are built for each firm and apply only as set out in the written offer we send you. Features and content may change.
4. Free trial
- The trial lasts 30 days, is free and needs no credit card.
- Nothing is charged when the trial ends: to keep going you need a signed contract. [TO BE COMPLETED] what happens to the app and the firm’s data when the trial ends (for example: the app switches to read-only, data stays on the firm’s computer)
- For the trial we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to evaluate Fiscoo within your firm. The download code is personal: don’t share it outside your firm.
- During the trial Fiscoo is provided as is, with no guaranteed support. The data you enter stays on your firm’s computers: keep your own backups. If you use real client data, your firm remains its data controller and responsible for having a legal basis to process it.
5. Artificial intelligence: what to expect
- Taxes are computed by rule engines, not by AI. The AI, which is optional and runs locally, makes proposals: bookkeeping entries, classifications, summaries, drafts. The professional reviews and confirms.
- AI output can be wrong or incomplete, and calculations need checking too: always review them before relying on them.
- Fiscoo is not an accountant or any other licensed professional, and it does not give tax, legal or accounting advice. It does not sign or file anything: signing and filing tax returns and other documents stay with the professional.
- Your firm remains responsible for its professional judgments and for telling its clients which AI systems it uses (as Italian Law 132/2025, Article 13, requires of professionals). Details and a sample text are on our AI Disclosure.
6. Acceptable use
- Don’t use the website or Fiscoo for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe other people’s rights.
- Don’t try to access restricted areas, get around the download code or attempt limits, or overload the website.
- Don’t introduce viruses or malicious code, or scrape the website’s content automatically and at scale.
- Don’t copy, modify, decompile or resell Fiscoo, except where the law allows it regardless (for example under Article 64-quater of the Italian Copyright Law).
If you find a vulnerability, report it as explained in our Legal Notice.
7. Intellectual property
The Fiscoo name, logo, Fischio, texts, graphics and software are ours or used under license. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Fiscoo with no obligation to you.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and the free trial are provided “as is,” without any warranty that they will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or profits, or the consequences of decisions made on the basis of AI output or website content without a professional’s review.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence (Italian Civil Code Art. 1229), or in any other case where the law does not allow it. [TO BE CHECKED with a lawyer]: under Italian law, liability limits and venue clauses in standard terms need specific written approval (Civil Code Arts. 1341–1342); decide how they are accepted
9. Third-party websites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience: we don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content.
10. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Italian law. The courts of [TO BE COMPLETED] venue (for example the court where our registered office is located), Italy, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Fiscoo is a business-to-business service; even so, nothing in these terms takes away any mandatory consumer protection that the law of your country gives you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms: the current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. Changes apply from publication and do not affect a trial already under way, unless the law requires them.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: write to [email protected] or to our PEC (certified email) [TO BE COMPLETED] PEC (certified email) address.
