Fiscoo installs on your firm’s computer, and client data and documents stay there. The app’s interface is in Italian: Fiscoo is built for the Italian tax system. To download it you need the personal code we give you when we start the trial together.

Which Mac

Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac: if the “Chip” line says “Apple M…,” choose “Apple silicon”; if you see a “Processor” line with “Intel”, choose “Intel”.

  1. Open the downloaded fileDouble-click “Fiscoo-…dmg” in your Downloads folder. A window opens with the Fiscoo icon and the Applications folder.
  2. Drag Fiscoo to ApplicationsDrag the Fiscoo icon onto the Applications folder, then eject the “Fiscoo” disk from the Finder sidebar.
  3. First launch: “Open Anyway”Open Fiscoo from Applications. macOS says it can’t verify the app: click “Done.” Then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to “‘Fiscoo’ was blocked to protect your Mac,” click “Open Anyway” and confirm with your Mac password. You only need to do this the first time.
  4. Set up your firmFiscoo sets up its database on your Mac (under a minute) and walks you through five steps: firm, account, dashboard, first data and local AI.

What you need

  • 8 GB of RAM (16 GB recommended for local AI)
  • 1 GB of disk space for the app and your data, plus 1.2–5.3 GB if you install local AI
  • Internet only to download the app, local AI and updates

Security

Why macOS and Windows ask you to confirm

Fiscoo isn’t signed with Apple’s and Microsoft’s paid certificates yet: if you download the file from your browser, your system asks you to confirm the first time you open it. With the command it doesn’t: the script downloads the file and checks it for you. To make sure the file is exactly the one we prepared, compare its SHA-256 fingerprint with the one we show next to the download.
