What accounting firms ask us

Does my clients’ data leave the firm?
Not through Fiscoo. The archive lives on your firm’s computer or server, and the AI runs on that same computer: documents, questions and client data aren’t sent to our servers or to outside AI services. Data leaves only when you send it yourself, for example through Entratel, the Italian Revenue Agency’s filing channel for professionals.
Do I need internet to work?
Not for day-to-day work. You need internet to download updates and for the outside services you use yourself, such as the cassetto fiscale (the Revenue Agency’s online taxpayer folder) or Entratel.
Can the AI make mistakes?
Yes. It can misread a request or pick a different account than the one you would use. That’s why taxes are calculated by rule engines with tests, the AI proposes with its reasoning and source, and nothing is applied without your confirmation.
Does Fiscoo file F24 forms and tax returns for me?
No. It prepares the draft F24 (Italy’s tax payment form) and the electronic filing file for Entratel. Signing and filing stay with the professional.
What if my computer can’t run the AI model?
Fiscoo still works: bookkeeping, calculations, deadlines and answers with sources don’t depend on the model. With the model installed, the assistant understands plain language and writes texts. During setup, Fiscoo recommends the right model for your computer.
Which computers does it run on?
It’s a desktop app for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and for macOS 12 or later, on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs (on Intel Macs the local AI runs on the processor and voice notes aren’t available). In server mode, several people at the firm work on the same archive.
Is the app in English?
Not yet: for now the app is in Italian only, because Fiscoo is built for the Italian tax system and for Italian accountants. This website is in English and Italian.
Can I bring the data I already have?
Yes: XML e-invoices from SdI (Italy’s e-invoicing exchange system), cassetto fiscale ZIP files, and your client list from a file. For larger firms, we do the migration together.
Do I have to tell my clients I use AI?
If you practice in Italy, yes: it’s a requirement of Italian law for professionals. Law 132/2025 (art. 13) asks professionals to inform clients clearly about the AI systems they use. Fiscoo helps because AI results are labeled as AI output. You’ll find the details on our AI Disclosure page.
