Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including with a keyboard, a screen reader or zoom.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Our goal
The website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the European norm EN 301 549. For US visitors, this is also how we aim to act consistently with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark we use. This is our own choice: [TO BE CHECKED with a lawyer]: confirm that Italian Law 4/2004 and Legislative Decree 82/2022 (European Accessibility Act) do not require it for this website.
Conformance status
Partially conformant: some parts do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA (see “Known limitations”). This is our own internal assessment: [TO BE COMPLETED] date of the latest review, automated tools and manual checks used. It has not yet been tested with people who use assistive technologies.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML: headings in order, page landmarks, tables with captions and headers.
- The main features are designed to work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Colors chosen for text contrast of at least 4.5:1.
- Screen-reader labels on buttons and icons; decorative icons are hidden.
- Fischio, our mascot, is decorative and hidden from screen readers: it carries no information that isn’t also in the text.
- With your system’s “Reduce motion” setting turned on, animations stop.
- The layout adapts to narrow screens and holds up when text is zoomed.
Known limitations
- The animated mascot and its speech bubbles can be distracting: “Reduce motion” stops the animations, but there is no on-page control to turn them off yet.
- The assistant demo is a simulation and may be harder to follow with a screen reader. It is not the real app, which has its own accessibility review.
- [TO BE COMPLETED] other limitations found in the review
Report a problem
If something doesn’t work for you, write to [email protected]: tell us the page and what you use (browser, screen reader). We reply within 30 days and, if needed, send you the same information in another format.
If you are not satisfied
If we don’t reply within 30 days or you are not satisfied with our reply, you can report it to the Agency for Digital Italy (AgID), which oversees accessibility in Italy, using the procedure on its website (agid.gov.it). [TO BE CHECKED with a lawyer]: whether the AgID procedure applies to a private website like ours
